Dr. Katerina Michael is a scientific collaborator of the center supervising the development and implementation of health promotion programs. She is a psychologist, psychotherapist, and researcher with public health and health promotion expertise. She has published articles in international scientific journals and has been involved in national and European research projects. Her latest work includes co-creating the We.R.Stars program, which aims to enhance self-esteem and resilience in primary school children. She is also a member of the research team of the Erasmus Project RE.MA.C, which focuses on integrating immigrant students in primary schools. Dr. Michael has over 20 years of experience in various settings and is a visiting lecturer and research associate at Frederick University.

Elena Ioannidou. Psychologist/Systemic Psychotherapist

Elena Ioannidou holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BSc) from the University of Sunderland, England. She further pursued her studies in Criminology and Criminal Justice (PgC) at the University of Leicester, England. Elena has completed the 4-year postgraduate program in Systemic Psychotherapy and Family Therapy at the Systemic Institute of Cyprus. She has also received training in Solution Focused Therapy from BRIEF and completed her training in the Non-Violent Resistance program from the School of Non-Violent Resistance in Israel. Elena is registered with the Pancypriot Association of Psychotherapists. She provides psychotherapeutic services to individuals of all ages, couples, and families.

Nektarios Michail
Registered Counselling Psychologist (319)

Nektarios Michail has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a master’s degree in Health Psychology from Babeș-Bolyai University. He has also completed a one-year education program in Psychotherapy for Children and Adolescents at the Systemic Institute of Cyprus.

During his postgraduate studies, he worked with individuals and their family members in clinical settings to evaluate and provide therapy for a range of psychological difficulties, including diagnoses such as diabetes, nutrition and metabolic disorders, oncologic diagnoses, psychiatric disorders, psychoactive substance addictions, and internal medicine procedures. 

Currently, he works privately. He is a registered couselling psychologist (R.N. 319).
